For this project, I was tasked with selecting a series of connotative words and using them to create a wooden sculpture that visually represented those concepts. I chose the words organic and architectural as they reflect both natural forms and man-made structures
Drawing on my experience in high school with MESA (Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement), where I participated in a balsa wood bridge competition, I applied my knowledge of structural stability to this project. My love for the ocean further inspired me to design a sculpture that symbolized the dynamic energy of a wave curl, blending organic fluidity with architectural precision
