For this final project, I was tasked with creating two photographs that incorporate the concept of levitation while reflecting the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic
In the first image, I aimed to capture the frustration of trying to obtain hard-to-find essentials, like toilet paper, during the early days of the pandemic. I depicted my model as if she were levitating, reaching desperately for the last pack on the shelf, symbolizing the scarcity and competition for resources
The second image explores the emotional strain of lockdown, depicting a model helplessly watching essential items float out of reach, representing the isolation and disconnection many experienced during this time
