For this group project, I had the opportunity to design a mobile app for a fictional UMBC event, UMBC Art Events, centered around a design lecture series called Type Talks: 20th Century Type Design. The series was aimed at individuals interested in typography, type design, and visual communication
I was responsible for designing pages 3-5 of the app, which included:
- The Upcoming Events page, listing all the scheduled lectures and activities
- The Menu Bar provides easy navigation throughout the app
- The Event and Speaker Details page offers in-depth information about the featured lecture and its speaker
My goal was to create a clean, intuitive interface that made it easy for users to navigate the event details while reflecting the theme of typography and design. Through this project, I was able to enhance my UX/UI skills and work collaboratively to create a visually engaging and user-friendly experience for event attendees
