For this project, I used SketchUp to design a public art installation. I created a split guitar sculpture to be placed at Waterfront Park in San Diego, California. Traditional designs from Paracho, Mexico, inspire the left side of the guitar, while the right side reflects the iconic American Gibson guitar design
As someone with a Mexican-American background, music—particularly the guitar—has always been a significant part of my life. Through this project, I aimed to honor both aspects of my heritage, celebrating the connection between these two musical traditions
