Avenir Poster

For my first project in my master’s level typography course, I was tasked with designing a type specimen poster that showcased a specific typeface alongside essential information about its design. I chose to focus on Avenir, a geometric sans-serif typeface created in the late 1980s by Adrian Frutiger. To reflect the era in which Avenir was designed, I incorporated colors and design elements inspired by the late '80s, creating a piece that not only highlights the typeface but also connects it to the cultural aesthetic of that time.
